When Should I Book A Gas Boiler Service? You should book a gas boiler service If:

• It’s been over a year or more since your last service
• The pilot flame in the boiler is small and uneven
• The boiler pilot flame is a yellowish colour(See image below)
• There are new smoke stains or smoke stains on or around the gas boiler
• The pilot flame randomly goes out
  
• The water pressure drops
• The boiler overheats and/or refills regularly  

A gas boiler should be serviced every 12 months
How often should you service your gas boiler?

• Get your gas boiler serviced within 12 months of installation(Your warranty will become void if you do not service your boiler at least every 12 months). 
• Get your gas boiler serviced every 12 months after your first boiler service(This ensures your gas boiler warranty stays valid). 
• Check with your gas boiler manufacturer or gas boiler installation engineer to determine exactly how often you should get your particular make/model of boiler serviced but at a minimum every 12 months is generally necessary.
